New Bridge Pins

I bought a set of Rosewood bridgepins from musiciansfriend for $10, they certainly look much better. The previous bridge pins were the original from 1972 so they had quite a bit of wear on them. The new bridge pins blend in much better with the bridge as well.

I'm still eventually looking to replace the tuners, nut, and maybe the saddle on this guitar (1972 Harmony dreadnought.)

the only thing that could be better is if you got
the ones with the black dots on them.

yeah, and they were worn horribly and had orange stains on them. As far as I can tell so far it sounds a lot better, the wood would connect sonically with the rest of the guitar better than the plastic.
